The Professional Training

After you got selected you have to complete Aspire - an online course. Aspire is essential course for every fresher joining TCS. It helps you to clear some basics about programming and give you some insight on history of TCS.
It is not mandatory to complete, but it is essential because not only it ensure an early joining but also it helps you to clear IRAs with flying colours.

For getting early joining you have to work hard and successfully complete Aspire and also you have to be in
toppers to get a joining letter.

Well, if you got lucky and secure a position in the leader board by clearing the cutoff of the respective batch, you will get the Joining letter from TCS. You will receive an email congratulating you for your joining.

After that you will receive several emails at regular interval regarding documents required at the day of joining.

And now you are probably thinking what's the next stage of your professional career ? Or may be you already heard about one of the best I.T. professional training course of TCS

ILP is a professional training pogram conducted after the trainees join TCS. The ILP phase enables you to understand programming concepts, programming languages, databases and new Technologies. It gives you the experience and insight of a project life cycle in addition to continuously enhancing your soft skills and organizational knowledge.

This is a very important (or the most important) phase of your life because during ILP you practically experience and learn all the business skills. These skills are very important for your long term survival and continuous growth in I.T. industry.

During the ILP phase, you will be continuously assessed on your understanding and application of various concepts learnt. There will be continuous tests and assessments during ILP. Make sure you perform well in them because these scores will be considered during your project allotment.

Your performance in ILP will stick to you for a while, until you gain some other skills and a experience of few years. After the successful completion of ILP, you are allocated to projects.


ILP will be conducted in one of the ILP centers. You can't choose your center, instead they will decide it for you.

But don't worry at ILP hostel you will feel like you are enjoying your college days once again.
