Dressing Guidelines For TCS ILP

Wondering what you can wear at ILP so that you can take your clothes accordingly ? Well here are some tips;-

Since employees are representatives of the Organization, and their dress, grooming, personal hygiene and moral conduct is a reflection of the organisation to the outside world. There are some official rules about dressing in present time. I am sure they will change with time. and who knows by how much magnitude ? 


All employees are expected to adhere to the Dress Code guidelines when at the workplace (both during and beyond official working hours). Workplace for the purpose of this guidelines includes Offices, Client Offices and any other location where the employee represents the company.

 Guidelines for Dressing

They expect you to dress in accordance with acceptable
standards of good taste, including being 'neat',
 'clean' and 'well groomed' at all times.

 Clothes should be neat and well ironed. Body hugging 
clothes should be avoided.

Employees are not allowed to wear any kind of visible body piercing other than pierced ear or nose rings.

There are different Dress Code Guidelines depending upon the day of the week.

Mondays to Thursdays employees should wear 'Business Formals'

On Fridays or last working day of the week, employees may wear 'Business Casuals'

Monday to Thursday - Business Formals

                          Full Sleeved Shirts, Formal Trousers, 
                          Sweaters

                          Formal Leather shoes and socks

                          Tie(simple pattern that matches the colour                               of the shirt).Blazer, Cuff Links

                          Kurta Pyjama, 
                          T-Shirt,Half sleeved shirts, Cargo Pants,                                 Shorts

                         Shirts with Floral Prints

                         Footwear

                     Sport shoes, sneakers, Sandals, floaters,
                     Slippers

For Females
                        Business Suits, Formal Skirts

Full Sleeved or half sleeved shirts

Formal Trousers

Cardigan/Sweater

Salwar Kameez, Sari or local Attire which is 
common practice at that location (provided it                            is simple and not dressy)


                        Footwear

Formal Leather shoes, boots, dress 
sandals and socks

                        Optional
                        Scarves/Blazers

                       Not allowed

For Females

                       Mini Skirts, Shorts (including dress shorts for                          women)

                       Halter Tops, Backless Tops,

                       bare Midriffs / low cut, Spaghetti-Straps
                       tops/dresses,

                       Sweatpants, Fleece outfits,

                       Slacks that expose midriff,

                       Shorts, Bib Overalls, Leggings,

                       Stirrup pants / other form-fitting pants
  
                       Footwear

                       Sport shoes, Sneakers, Floaters, Slippers

Friday or last working day of the Week-Business Casuals

Allowed

  Sheer/see through Clothing, 
low necklines,

clinging or oversized attire

Women employees are requested to use their
discretion and wear only appropriate
  sleeveless tops as befitting the corporate 
image
