Q.- What if do not have a Birth certificate ?

A.- A birth certificate is a mandatory document. In case you do not have it, please apply for it. As a temporary arrangement, you may produce an affidavit in English of the passport or SSC passing certificate on a ` 100/- Stamp paper containing your name, place and date of birth. Note: An affidavit is a written declaration made by a notary public or other authorized officer. But apply for the birth certificate as soon as possible because it will take some time.

Q.- If birth certificate does not have my name ?

A.- If the Birth Certificate does not contain the name, you will have to get

Q. - Do stamp paper is needed for service agreement ?

A.- Yes, you must use a `Rs 100 stamp paper. The first page of the service agreement, provided to you with the joining letter, should be typed on the Rs`100 stamp paper. You can attach the remaining pages as it is to the stamp paper. In case of non availability of Rs`100 stamp paper, you can use two stamp papers of `Rs 50 or you can opt for e stamping/Franking - Impression of Stamps. Remember that you can't just type it on a simple paper.

Q.- Where to submit joining acceptance ?

A.- Log on to https://nextstep.tcs.com. Click on the link ILP Corner -> Joining Letter -> I Accept. There is time limit on submitting joining acceptance and you must do it before that.
But don't worry if you forget to do it within time limit because personally I saw many people who do it after time limit.

Q.- Will accommodation is provided by the company during training ?

A.- They provides accommodation basis business requirements. Accommodation is not provided to candidates whose ILP location will be same as their base branch. In case, TCS provides accommodation during the training period, the rent towards the same will be deducted from your House Rent Allowance (HRA).You will receive an email stating complete details of the accommodation one week prior to your ILP Schedule.
